PHILOSOPHY
My mantra for improving fitness, health and quality of life alongside the integration of training revolves around my sister Jelita. Diagnosed with lenaux gastau at a young age she only learned to barely walk at the age of 12. This lack of motor skill in movement and development of my sister has driven my passion to provide a service to everyday people who have been moving, training, exercising and working in ways that will harm their bodies in the long run.
This service is one that provides not only a life changing personalised programme to move, feel and live better both in and out of the gym but one where your learning alongside achieving your goals is a focal point. The importance of a healthy and balance lifestyle through proper training has been overshadowed by looking a 'certain way' and this is my fight against that.
Below are the 4 PILLARS this approach to a better you will revolve around.
The 4 Pillars
Movement
The foundation of fitness and health derives from movement. Emphasis on quality movement patterns trump all other aspects of training . As humans it is our duty to do what we were born to do and that is to move to our best potential pain free. Education on important movements required and execution of them flawlessly is where this pillar is honed in on.
Strength
Strength and robustness go hand in hand. Not only within muscle but also of joints and surrounding tissues. This will not only increase strength when training but also when performing everyday tasks leaving joints healthy and cared for. Increasing longevity of well-being and quality of life.
Longevity
Longevity of the life you live is a core pillar to the way you are coached. All methods applied to your personal journey will ensure longevity and consistency is at the forefront of our coaching. everything we do will be made sure to fit in your life long term rather than be a quick fix that wont last.
Well-being
This is where all the training and hard work comes together. Perfecting what we talk about in terms of movement we also establish a healthy life with healthy behaviours and habits outside the gym encompassing all things well-being, including: Nutrition, sleep, active recovery, time management and many more.
